Negar Taghizadeh
Everett, Washington (US)
Stress has been a familiar part of Negar's life since she was young. After moving to a new country, she had to adapt to an unfamiliar world, shaping her understanding of stress—not as something to avoid, but as something that can be met, worked through. She discovered cold water as a way to find calm and began incorporating cold showers into her routine. Cold water and time in nature became a place of peace, helping her slow her breath and reconnect with herself. Her love for adventure led her to combine nature and cold plunging. She enjoys hiking in search of waterfalls, alpine lakes, and cold rivers to plunge or swim in. Being surrounded by nature while surrendering to cold water has become one of her most grounding experiences. Through Cold Club, she developed a deeper appreciation for cold, heat, and breathwork. She learned how each can be used to meet discomfort, regulate the body and mind, and move between intensity and recovery. Together, these practices have become tools for building resilience and staying present through life's challenges. As an instructor, she hopes to share these experiences and help others discover the strength that comes from stepping into discomfort and finding stillness within it.
