Dylan Hillyer
Iowa, US
Dylan spent over a decade on wildfires as a US Forest Service Hotshot and Smokejumper, so is no stranger to stressful situations. Most recently he established his arborist company, Goodwood Tree, so still finds exhilaration from climbing trees. In both roles, stress is not an obstacle but a condition of the work. He learned a defining truth - resilience is built by working with stress, not against it.
To sustain that edge, Dylan turned to breath work and deliberate heat and cold exposure. Today, these lessons shape everything he teaches. At Cold Club, he helps others develop their own capacity for resilience and strength.
When Dylan is not in the trees, he enjoys spearfishing, bow hunting, and taking care of Opal and Ida, his beloved dogs.
His mission is simple - help people harness stress, build resilience, and live with intention. Because when you fully inhabit the present, the future handles itself.
